Our company has been implementing for many years an environmental-friendly policy and it is committed to it with resolving actions.

In 2009 it has indeed started the project of converting 3 production units to “production sites” for power supply, by installing a 205 Kw photovoltaic plant on a surface of over 4000 m2.

At the same time – always for a surface of over 4000 m2 – asbestos roof bases have been disposed of and the same have been replaced with eco-compatible roofs.

So, since 2010 the company produces INDEPENDENTLY and ECO-FRIENDLY the 100% of the energy needed for products manufacturing and for company operations with an estimated value of 250,000 kWh.

The photovoltaic power system we implemented then help to reduce the overall power supply energy demand from traditional sources, thereby reducing the atmospheric pollution (emission of carbon dioxide otherwise generated by thermal power plants). The carbon dioxide emissions “avoided” each year is 130.000 kg, representing an annual saving of 54,000 barrels of oil, equivalent to 17.000 trees. All this for at least the next 30 years.

The implementation of this plant is a concrete sign of the great attention our company has and always had for social life and deep respect for the mankind and the environment.

Despite the strong period of worldwide economic crisis, EBIsas has however subscribed an important financial commitment to implement this photovoltaic power system, aware that the efforts of the present will contribute to improve the future of everyone.
